Bougainville circa 1971. The old Kieta hospital site - the remaining general ward, midwifery ward and the Malaria Control office. Staff housing at back. Near the old ward can be seen the new museum as part of the Bougainville Cultural Centre to be. Note also the Sailing Club (lower right) - photo taken on a weekend, hence all the cars. I believe nothing now remains of these buildings.
