How Una Voce got its name Some members may be puzzled by the motto of our Association shown on the front page of the Association’s Journal. It doesn’t sound like Pidgin, nor Motu, nor English: in fact it is a Latin phrase. So why do we use it? It is based on the origin and history of the Association. The attention to detail of the production and design has been paramount and it is hoped that the DVD will look both classic and timeless and will reflect the ethos of the colonial fifties when adventurers confronted one of the most dramatic and magnificent cultures on earth. The Committee of the PNGAA has agreed that surplus funds generated from the sale of the DVD will be used to further the objects of PNGAA, specifically "to encourage the preservation of documents and historical material related to Papua New Guinea" (Rule 2 (c) of PNGAA's Constitution). In this regard assistance will be primarily given to digitising the Fryer Library's PNGAA Collection held at the University of Queensland.
